Florida Shrimp Pie (Print Format)

Tender shrimp mixed with creamy cheese and flavorful spices, all baked in a flaky golden crust.

# Ingredients:

→ Crust

01 - 1 thawed Pillsbury™ Deep Dish Pie Crust

→ Filling

02 - 1/2 cup of creamy chive and onion cheese spread
03 - 4 eggs, large
04 - 12 ounces of pre-cooked frozen shrimp, thawed, tail removed, and chopped
05 - 1/2 cup shredded cheese, pepper Jack flavor

# Steps:

01 - Stick a cookie sheet in the oven and set it to warm up at 375°F. Let crust soften for about 10-20 minutes. Poke its bottom and sides all over with a fork. Pop it on the cookie sheet and bake for 9-11 minutes until golden and lightly crispy.
02 - Whisk the cream cheese spread until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Mix in the chopped shrimp and shredded pepper Jack cheese.
03 - Pour the filling into the slightly baked crust. Set it back on the cookie sheet, then bake for 30-35 minutes or until the middle is firm and the top is golden brown.
04 - Let it rest for 15 minutes so it firms up before cutting it into slices. Enjoy while warm!

# Tips:

01 - Drain the shrimp well so the filling won't end up watery.
02 - Can be served as a main course or sliced small for appetizers.
