Strawberry French Toast Roll Ups (Print Format)

01 - 10 slices white sandwich bread
02 - 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, diced small
03 - 4 ounces cream cheese
04 - 1/4 cup powdered sugar
05 - 2 large eggs
06 - 2 tablespoons milk
07 - 3 teaspoons granulated sugar, divided
08 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Steps:

01 - Combine diced strawberries with 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar in a bowl. Toss to coat evenly.
02 - Mix softened cream cheese with powdered sugar in a bowl. Stir until smooth and combined.
03 - Flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin and trim off the crusts. Spread a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture along one edge. Add a spoonful of strawberries on top and gently roll up the bread. Repeat with all bread slices.
04 - In a small bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, remaining 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon until blended.
05 - Preheat a nonstick pan over medium heat and coat with cooking spray or a small amount of butter. Dip each roll in the egg mixture and place seam side down on the pan. Cook until browned, turning to brown all sides evenly.
06 - Remove from heat and serve warm with syrup, extra strawberries, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
