There are nine visible yellow yolks in the supplied frying-pan photo. That is a count of yolks, not conclusive proof that nine separate eggs were cracked.

A way to check the count

Count two near the top, one at upper right, three across the left half, one at middle right and two overlapping near the bottom. That totals nine. Scan by position so that the touching yolks at the top and bottom are counted separately.

Why yolks and eggs are not always interchangeable

Whites have merged in the pan, and an egg can occasionally contain more than one yolk. The photograph therefore supports a visible-yolk total. It cannot tell us with certainty how many shells were opened.

A different boiled-egg picture

A yellow plate of whole peeled eggs is a separate puzzle with a different count. Do not reuse the pan’s answer for that image.
